COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

We believe that we can help our community become a better place to live, to work and to play. We encourage our professionals to serve on boards, advisory committees and business leadership panels. We commit ourselves to volunteer service through places of worship, service organizations, PTAs and Alumni Associations.

Gregg & Bailey installing a roof as part of the 2009 Powhatan Habitat for Humanity project. Somehow they managed to finish it in one day.

During the summer our families enjoyed tailgating and cheering on the Richmond Squirrel's. Our own Carter Maxey helped coordinate the event. She is a personal friend of Nutzy and the dancing Flamingo seen at the games.

During the game, Ray Newman almost caught a foul ball, but the woman who beat him for it was putting up quite a fight. We have enjoyed getting our families together for various company events. Our firm feels strongly that it is important to interact outside the workplace.

Every year the staff at Gregg and Bailey joins together to either help out with a local Christmas Mother or adopts angels from the Angel Tree. This year we were able to adopt 3 angels; a 2 year old boy, a 6 year old girl and a 13 year old girl. Cathy Brooks, Emily Klein, Karen Hudgins and Beth Llewellyn had a great time shopping for the children, and the firm was excited to fulfill the children’s Holiday wishes.

From roofing to gardening, Gregg & Bailey staff looks forward to participating in a variety of projects through the annual Day of Service sponsored by the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants. This year's service took us to Henricus Park in Chester, Virginia, where we landscaped the upper and lower vegetable and herb gardens.
